Aerostunts began operating aerobatic flights in Queenstown in April 2011.Previously the brand and the aircraft (ZK-STX) were based in Christchurch. Queenstown, of course, provides a far more spectacular background for this adrenaline-pumping activity.Our flights take off and land at Queenstown International Airport, and the aerobatics are usually done over Lake Wakatipu (beside the Remarkables range), over Coronet Peak, or near the centre of town above Queenstown Bay.Our aerobatics aircraft is the highly acclaimed Pitts S-2B, the only one of its type in New Zealand.
